Experience

Data Analyst - Prime Minister’s Office

2023 - Present · Jerusalem

I work as a Data Analyst focusing on turning large-scale workforce and operational datasets into clear, practical insights for senior decision-makers. My work spans the full analytic lifecycle: ETL, data cleaning, EDA, modeling and delivering findings that directly support strategic planning across government units.

  • Delivered data-driven insights that improved workforce planning and helped reduce a department’s annual costs by 10-15%.
  • Built predictive models to estimate success likelihood in various domains using structured, multi-source datasets.
  • Designed KPI dashboards and BI tools to track operational and workforce trends.
  • Identified anomalies, patterns and actionable opportunities through deep EDA.
  • Worked closely with cross-functional teams to translate complex questions into measurable KPIs and clear recommendations.

Business & Data Analyst Scope

Alongside the analytical work, I also take responsibility for the business side of data - defining measurement logic, aligning stakeholders, and ensuring insights lead to real organizational impact.

  • Translating business needs into structured analytical frameworks.
  • Performing A/B tests, trend analysis, segmentation and ROI evaluations.
  • Creating clear documentation, measurement plans and data specifications.
  • Presenting insights in a simple, actionable way for senior leaders.

Private Tutor - Statistics, Programming & STEM

2022 - 2025

I provided one-on-one tutoring for university students in statistics, programming, physics and mathematics. I focused on helping students build intuition, understand complex concepts and prepare effectively for exams.

  • Teaching fundamentals of probability, statistics and machine learning.
  • Guiding students through Python, problem-solving and analytical thinking.

Officer - Special Operations Engineering Unit, IDF

2015 - 2021

Served as an officer in an elite engineering unit, leading operational and technological initiatives. Gained extensive leadership experience managing soldiers, coordinating missions and driving R&D projects in high-pressure environments.

  • Commanded operational teams in both field missions and training programs.
  • Led R&D initiatives from concept to deployment, focusing on technologies supporting tunnel-threat operations.
  • Worked closely with defense industries, intelligence bodies and technology teams.

Projects

Selected projects that show my work with Bayesian methods, reinforcement learning and medical data.

Hackathon Experience

A two-day hackathon at Ariel University in collaboration with AWS, focused on creating technological solutions that help reduce bullying.

Kinder - A Social Platform for Kids

During the hackathon we developed Kinder - a platform designed to help children ages 6-12 find friends based on mutual interests and hobbies. The system is managed by parents to ensure a safe and supportive environment.

The inspiration came from real-life challenges: kids who don't like football or mainstream activities often struggle socially. Kinder connects them with other children who share interests like chess, drawing, robotics and more - one meaningful connection can truly change a child's life.

Throughout the event I gained experience in teamwork, rapid product development, and effective pitching. I presented Kinder to judges, mentors and participants - and the feedback was extremely positive.

About me

A bit more about my interests, passions and what drives me.

My interest in Artificial Intelligence

I truly believe that artificial intelligence is already changing and will continue to change our lives, which is why I make a continuous effort to stay updated on the technological tools that AI can offer.

I am deeply interested in artificial intelligence and constantly explore new AI tools and technologies as they emerge. One of the people I admire most in this field is Ilya Sutskever (a relative of mine) for both his deep theoretical understanding and his role in shaping modern AI.

I closely follow his lectures, interviews, and research, and find great inspiration and insight in the ideas he shares.

I love working with data, especially when it helps answer real questions in a clear and practical way. I enjoy taking open problems, breaking them down, and turning them into something structured that we can actually solve.

Outside of work, I’m really into “vibe coding” - building small tools, automations, and fun side projects. I also love exploring new AI tools and constantly look for ways to improve my workflow and stay ahead of what's coming next.

And when I’m not coding, you’ll almost always find me playing chess. I play at a competitive level and enjoy the strategy, focus, and patience the game teaches.
